The people behind Oxaphil – because good technology does not happen by accident

Behind every technological solution are decisions, experience, and people who know what they’re doing. At Oxaphil, we combine scientific excellence with the determination to make novel materials not just conceivable, but applicable. Our team brings together diverse perspectives from research, application, and development with a clear focus on quality, scalability, and impact.

We believe that technology is never accidental. It is the result of expertise, conviction, and shared responsibility.

Leonardo Matassini

Technology requires clarity and leadership

At Oxaphil, Leonardo Matassini is responsible for the development of our platform technologies: shaping how our materials move from chemistry into scalable applications. As a chemist, he works from the question: how must a polymer be designed so that we can scale it, our customers can formulate with it, and real-world applications can move forward? Naturally, Leonardo also plays a key role in designing the processes that make our technology scalable. These developments are new, so we are unable to reveal much yet, except that the results are promising.

Leonardo’s background in American football – an active player and German Champion in 2021 and also a youth coach – shows in the lab as well: he leads, mentors, and sets the pace. Therefore, students and interns especially benefit from his clear communication, patience, and focus on what truly matters.
